Terms and conditions

These terms govern the use of Klicova (klicova.com), an independent project. By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms, the Privacy notice, the cookie policy and the community board rules described in section 4. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service and the access model

Klicova is a free online editor for thumbnails compatible with platforms such as YouTube, TikTok and Instagram, funded by advertising. Access works as follows:

• Without an account: you can freely browse the template gallery and read these legal pages.
• With a free account: use the editor, download your designs, set up your channel profile and take part in the community boards. This requirement exists to protect users, advertisers and the service itself: all user-generated content is tied to an identity and subject to moderation.

2. Your account

• Registration with explicit acceptance. Creating an account requires ticking the box accepting these terms, the privacy notice and the board rules. Without that acceptance, registration is not possible by any means (email or Google) — the form itself prevents it. The moment of acceptance is recorded alongside your account as proof.
• Minimum age. You must be at least 13 years old. If you are a minor in your country, you also need the consent of your mother, father or guardian.
• Accuracy and security. Your account details must be yours and truthful. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for the activity carried out with your session.
• A single real identity. It is not permitted to create accounts to impersonate other people, evade suspensions, automate use of the service or manipulate the boards (for example, with votes or posts from multiple accounts).

3. Your content (designs and images)

• The images you upload to the editor and the thumbnails you create are yours. Klicova claims no ownership over your content.
• The processing of your images (including background removal) happens inside your browser: on the free plan your images and designs are not uploaded to or stored on our servers. Klicova never shows your designs to other users.
• You are responsible for holding the rights to the images you use in your designs and for the use you make of the resulting thumbnails on the platforms where you publish them.

4. Community boards (suggestions and support)

The boards are public text-only spaces for proposing ideas and reporting product issues. They are the only place in Klicova where user-generated content is published, and for that reason they operate under a complete set of protections aligned with the strategies Google recommends for managing this type of content:

• Mandatory identity: posting and voting require an active session; every post is tied to an account. Publicly, only your channel name is shown.
• Prohibited content: spam; links of any kind; personal data (your own or third parties’); sexual, violent, offensive, discriminatory or illegal content; third-party advertising; and any content unrelated to the service.
• Text only: images and files cannot be posted, which structurally reduces the risk of harmful content.
• Anti-bot verification: every post passes through Google reCAPTCHA (invisible) to prevent bot-generated content.
• Rate limits: the server limits how many posts it accepts per connection within time windows, to curb bursts and automated flows.
• Automatic filters: messages with links are rejected, and a content filter automatically flags suspicious posts for priority review by the moderator.
• Report on every post: next to each post and contribution there is a “Report” link to alert us to problematic content.
• Moderation and routine review: we periodically review the boards, the reports received and the flagged content, and we may remove any post that breaks these rules, without prior notice.
• No advertising: the boards show no ads and load no advertising code. User-generated content never coexists with advertising on Klicova.

By posting, you grant Klicova permission to display your post on the boards and to remove it when appropriate.

5. Our commitments to you

Klicova was built following the industry policies on site behavior and honest navigation. We commit to:

• Honest navigation: buttons and links say exactly where they lead; we do not use fake download buttons, promises of nonexistent content or redirects to external sites. The only redirects are internal and expected (for example, when completing your registration).
• No pop-ups: we do not open pop-ups or pop-unders. The editor dialogs are part of the page; you open them and you can close them.
• Downloads only at your request: the only thing Klicova downloads to your device is the thumbnail you export, when you press the download button. We never start automatic downloads.
• Your browser is yours: we do not alter your settings, your home page, nor do we install software. The only preference we save is the light/dark theme you choose, and it applies only to this site.
• Verifiable promises: what the site advertises (free, no watermark, official sizes, local processing) is literally true and you can verify it by using it.

6. Advertising

Advertising is what makes the free plan possible. Our placement commitment and your commitment to legitimate use:

• Where yes and where no: the ads (Google AdSense) appear only in the gallery and the editor, always in containers labeled with the word “Ad”. There are never ads on the boards, the registration, the profile or these legal pages.
• Always distinguishable: the ads do not mimic templates, buttons or navigation elements, are not placed next to critical actions (such as the download button) and do not use misleading labels.
• No refresh tricks: the ads do not refresh automatically over time; they only change when you navigate.
• We will never ask you to interact with them: Klicova offers no rewards nor asks for support through ad clicks or views.
• Your obligation: generating artificial clicks or impressions (manual or automated), encouraging them in third parties, or directing artificial/incentivized traffic to Klicova is prohibited. Such conduct harms advertisers, jeopardizes the service’s monetization and is grounds for account termination.
• Advertisers are unrelated to Klicova and we do not endorse their products.

7. Catalog and editorial policy

• The template catalog is suitable for a general audience: no sexual, violent or hateful content.
• The templates use generic or fictional genres and scenarios; the catalog does not capitalize on real tragedies or sensitive events.
• The library assets are our own creations, generated by artificial intelligence tools under our control, or licensed material.

8. Klicova’s intellectual property

• The templates, graphics and other library assets are licensed to you to create your thumbnails, including commercial use on your channels and social networks.
• It is not permitted to resell, redistribute or republish the templates or assets as such (for example, as template packs), nor to use the Klicova brand or logo without authorization.

9. Third-party intellectual property

We respect copyright. If you believe that any content on Klicova (templates, library assets or board posts) infringes your rights, write to us at cylantekhq@gmail.com with the identification of the content and proof of your right. We will review the report and remove the content when appropriate.

10. Third-party trademarks and independence

Klicova is an independent project. We are not affiliated with, associated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Google, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X or any other platform, and we have no preferential arrangement with them. Their names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners and are mentioned solely for descriptive purposes: to indicate the formats and sizes with which the thumbnails created here are compatible. The editor and site previews are illustrative simulations of appearance, not screenshots or integrations of the real platforms, and do not guarantee reach or view results.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms — in particular the board rules (section 4) and the prohibition on fraudulent interaction with the ads (section 6) — and remove the associated content. You may stop using the service and request the deletion of your account at any time (see the privacy notice).

12. Availability and warranties

Klicova is provided “as is”, without warranties of continuous availability or fitness for a particular purpose. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Klicova will not be liable for indirect damages arising from use of the service.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States.
